How to use it
Apply before you head out — not after
-
01
Apply
Apply to dry, clean skin at least 5 minutes before activity.
-
02
Press
Press firmly and smooth out any edges.
-
03
Remove
Remove gently after activity — if tape is difficult to remove, dampen the area first.
The damage is progressive
It starts as a tingle. It ends in blood.
Nipple chafing is not a single event. It is a progressive injury that escalates through four stages, each worse than the last.
-
Stage 01: Sensitivity
A mild tingle you dismiss as nothing. Warmth in the nipple area. You push through because it is "not that bad yet." Thousands of micro-abrasions are already accumulating beneath the surface.
-
Stage 02: Redness and swelling
After the session, red, dry, swollen nipples. Flaking skin. Even a soft t-shirt feels like sandpaper. The shower stings. Warm water burns. You start crossing your arms just to get clean.
-
Stage 03: Cracking and bleeding
The skin splits open. Blood seeps through your shirt. Marathon finish line photos with red streaks. Motocross jerseys stuck to your chest. The inside of your jersey looks like a crime scene.
-
Stage 04: Forced downtime
Five to seven days minimum to heal. Training derailed. Race entries wasted. Once damaged, the skin stays fragile. The next episode comes faster and hurts worse. A vicious cycle.
It does not matter how you move. Your gear is working against you.
Running
40,000+ friction events per nipple. By mile eighteen, you are bleeding.
Functional fitness
Sixty to ninety minutes of multi-directional friction. No going shirtless.
Motocross / enduro
Chest protectors grind with every bump. Pros use electrical tape because nothing better existed.
Cycling and MTB
Bib straps create a dedicated friction line with every pedal stroke.
Surfing and water sports
Board wax grips your chest on every paddle. Plasters dissolve in salt water.
Triathlon / ironman
Three sports. Zero protection that survives all of them. Until now.
CrossFit / gym
Kipping pull-ups, burpees and barbell cleans. Constant shirt movement.
Hiking and rucking
Chest straps pressing fabric into your nipples for hours. No escape.
Team and contact sports
Shoulder pads, base layers and mesh jerseys. Ninety minutes of friction.
No Rub Club
Plasters fall off. Jelly dissapears. Duct tape takes your hair with it.
Everything else was designed for a different problem.

First Fix is a prevention tool — not a treatment
First Fix tape is designed to be applied to clean, dry skin before activity to create a protective barrier that reduces friction between skin surfaces or between skin and clothing. It is not a wound dressing, medical tape, or therapeutic product. It will not treat or heal skin that has already chafed — it exists to stop that from happening in the first place.
Patch test if you have sensitive skin
If you have sensitive skin or known tape allergies, we recommend a patch test on a small area 24 hours before first use. Apply a small strip to your inner arm and monitor for any redness, itching, or irritation. If any reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately. NoRubClub products are not suitable for use on broken skin, open wounds, or over active rashes or dermatological conditions.
Not right for you? We'll sort it
If your order arrives damaged or isn't what you expected, get in touch within 14 days and we'll make it right. Due to the nature of skin-contact products, we're unable to accept returns of opened items for hygiene reasons — but if something's wrong, we'll always find a solution.
Will it work for everyone?
For most athletes using it as directed, yes. But bodies are different, and activity levels vary. First Fix is built to perform under serious conditions — long runs, enduro events, multi-hour rides — but no product is a one-size-fits-all guarantee. If it doesn't work for you, tell us. We'd rather know than have you suffer in silence.
How much is delivery?
